The Stefan Schatz Trio
STEFAN SCHATZ was born in New York City. After training early on as a classical percussionist, Stefan went on to study jazz at the New School in New York. Stefan has worked with Dakota Staton, Jon Hendricks, Jane Monheit, Arnie Lawrence, Herman Foster, Teddy Charles, and Freddie Redd, and has toured internationally with the Chris Byars/Ari Roland Quartet, Manhattan Tap, and the Mark Morris Dance Group. He has played on television and film soundtracks, commercials, numerous albums, and in several Broadway shows. Stefan was a three-time recipient of the US State Department's “Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad” Program, and traveled to over forty different countries representing the US by playing jazz. Stefan participated in the Grammy Award for his drumming on the album "High Wide & Handsome: The Charlie Poole Project," by Loudon Wainwright III. In 2019, Stefan made his debut playing drums with Wynton Marsalis & the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, alongside jazz greats McCoy Tyner and Charles McPherson.

Live Music ft. Charles Bubeck, Vibraphonist on the Patio
Charles Bubeck has been performing in the DMV for over thirty years, leading a variety of jazz groups in local performances at the Kennedy Center, Blues Alley, Twins Jazz, and The Icehouse Café to name a few. Mr. Bubeck has released four independent recordings featuring his own compositions, and he has appeared on numerous recordings of other artists such as Halley Schoenberg, Dave Mosick and Daniel Ian Smith.
In addition to his extensive performing career, Mr. Bubeck served as the Jazz Ensemble director of his alma mater, W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia for nearly 20 years.

Live Music ft. The Walkaways on the Patio
The Walkaways are a metropolitan DC-based band, making original music since 2006 with a sound that has been called "alt-country" (Washington Post, Washington City Paper, Washingtonian Magazine). Their songs draw even more broadly, however, from Americana, folk, roots rock, country, indie, and classic rock. Key influences include Ryan Adams, Son Volt, Wilco, Springsteen, Uncle Tupelo, Josh Ritter, The Band, and Old 97s.

Sara Zhu and Austin Stahle Jazz duo. This DMV based duo features Sara Zhu on vocals and flute, and Austin Stable on guitar. Specializing in swing-era standards and selections from the great American Songbook.

Combo Indigo features Vocalist/Guitarist Joe Chiocca and Bassist/Vocalist John Coppola. This old school Classic Rock, Pop, folk, Blues and Bluegrass duo pride themselves as not being singer songwriters, but playing good old music!

Join Washington DC’s own Rodney Richards as he shares the rich DC jazz tradition. The trio plays jazz standards of Legendary DC jazz artists including Duke Ellington and Cab Calloway.

Live Music ft. Adrian Duke Project on the Patio
Adrian Duke Project (duo) is a piano player/singer/ songwriter in the New Orleans musical tradition of Professor Longhair, James Booker & Dr. John. Add to that voice that is infused with a startling imprint of early Atlantic sides of Ray Charles, and what you get just begins to describe what’s in Duke’s bag as a performer and composer. Where New Orleans blues, classic soul, and American collide is where he lives.

Live Music ft. Jay Byrd
Jason (Jay) Byrd has been a professional guitarist, singer, and songwriter since his late teens. In his early twenties, he co-founded the blues-rock trio The Groov with Kerry Brooks, and in 1996 joined the then-Grateful Dead cover band Wavy Train. Byrd's original songs and guitar work helped Wavy Train to forge a sound that combined pop-oriented melodies with extended improvisation. After moving to the Washington, DC area in 2001, Jason began crafting songs with a decidedly Americana bent. An award-winning songwriter (NewSong, Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, Bernard-Ebb Finalist), Jason continues to write and perform original roots-influenced music. Jay’s new album, At Home Again (2022) is now available on CD and on all streaming platforms.

Adam Fluger is a versatile guitarist, performer, educator and composer with 15 years of professional experience in the DMV area. Led by Adam Fluger, the Jazz experience group consists of solo, duo, trio, quartet or quintet instrumentation depending on the setting and demand.

"Janis Joplin ... and Joni Mitchell blended together," says The Montgomery Caller of Lloyd’s passionate, “sing-me-the-phone-book” alto. The awards haven't stopped since she took Album of the Year from the Songwriter’s Association of Washington in 2018. She is a Grand Prize winner of the prestigious Bernard Ebb Songwriting Award, and this year opened for Gordon Lightfoot. Expect a blend of classic covers from every genre alongside award-winning original music

Stacey Loggins
Tobago Bay Calypso is Northern Virginia’s Hot Calypso band featuring music from the Caribbean and the sound of steel drums. A stylistically unique group from day one, with music ranging from Soca and Calypso to Latin, Pop and Jazz. At Lena’s feature Stacey Loggins, leader of the ensemble with a solo performance full of the same high energy you have come accustomed to from this NOVA based calypso group.

SASH Duo
SASH Duo is an adventurous collaboration between Sarah Hughes on alto and soprano saxophones, vocals, and tap dancing and bassist Steve Arnold. Repertoire includes jazz standards, free improvisation, and arrangements of other well-loved music.
